We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team in a luxurious 5-star hotel environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all plumbing systems across guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, staff quarters, and back-of-house areas, ensuring the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all plumbing infrastructure.
* Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues and resolve with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
* Collaborate with engineering, housekeeping, and front office teams to address guest-related maintenance requests.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Monitor water usage and report any irregularities or leaks to management.
* Support major refurbishments or renovation projects as required.
Requirements:
* A qualified Plumber with relevant certifications and experience.
* Proven experience in industrial plumbing work, preferably within the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call rotations.
* A proactive and can-do attitude, with the ability to think quickly in high-pressure situations.
* Flexibility to work on a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
* Full, clean driving license is essential.
* English language proficiency is required.
