Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to lead our team in conducting professional land surveying services for various transportation projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supervising a survey office or district survey unit, ensuring all survey work is compliant with VDOT policies and APELSCIDLA rules.
The selected individual will be responsible for signing and sealing survey plans under their licensure, securing data through field equipment use, establishing project management procedures, and coordinating projects with the District Survey Manager.
* Determine construction activities and estimate costs for state or contractor construction surveys.
* Perform stake-outs according to project schedules.
