BMS Engineer – Electrical Power Monitoring Systems – Dublin, Ireland
€85,000 – €100,000 annual salary

We are seeking a Building Management Systems (BMS) Engineer to join a leading contractor, playing a key role in the delivery of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and BMS systems on major data centre projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge, mission-critical facilities, leading the design, installation, commissioning, and handover of automation systems while managing specialist integrators and M&E contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Specialist Systems Integrator (SI) across all aspects of BMS and EPMS works, including design, health & safety, quality, commissioning, and pre-construction activities.
* Coordinate M&E contractor installations related to BMS and EPMS systems.
* Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver automation systems that meet client requirements.
* Oversee execution of automation works to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with BMS and EPMS systems.
* Work closely with stakeholders, including clients, commissioning agents, contractors, and equipment vendors (OFCI & CFCI).
* Implement and enforce quality control measures, ensuring systems are reliable, compliant, and efficient.
* Provide technical guidance and support to team members and other work package leads.
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing BMS and EPMS systems in large-scale construction projects, ideally within the data centre sector.
* Strong knowledge of BMS technologies, automation protocols, and industry standards.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Project management experience is an advantage.
* Familiarity with relevant software and programming languages.
