Catering Equipment Technician Role
The role of Catering Equipment Technician involves ongoing support to the Service Manager to service and maintain all catering equipment from our Head office in Galway. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and commissioning of all our catering equipment on an ongoing basis, ensuring company policy is met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Repair and maintenance of catering equipment such as Fryers, Pressure fryers, Grills, Pizza Ovens, Hot Counters, Ovens, Rational ovens, Dishwashers, Toasters and Ice Cream & Milkshake Machines, and Refrigeration.
* Maintain, Operate and repair all relevant equipment.
* Modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.
* Inspect equipment to detect wear and damage and perform minor repairs, adjustments and maintenance tasks.
* Maintain inventories of equipment, storing and retrieving items and assembling and disassembling equipment as necessary.
* Be flexible, able to work on all various catering equipment.
* Abide by all standards and procedures and ensure others do likewise.
Requirements:
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven experience in the field of catering equipment.
