Construction Manager with QA/QC expertise
to oversee and coordinate construction projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
:
* Implement, monitor, and maintain QA/QC procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
* Prepare and oversee project specific quality management plans, ITPs and associated procedures.
* Support project-based works ensuring works handed over in accordance with Quality management plan and associated documentation .
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and reviews; document findings and ensure timely corrective actions.
* Provide detailed reports on project status, risks, and quality performance.
* Identify and resolve construction issues, delays, or risks.
* Implement comprehensive quality management systems for projects.
* Manage project documentation, including quality assurance and quality control records.
* Coordinate with project teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the construction process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
:
* Preferably a degree qualified in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or Architecture including Quality Management Degree (Level 7).
* Existing experience in construction management or QA/QC is a distinct advantage. Other academic qualifications will be considered, as previous experience is highly valued.
* Proven experience in a construction management or QA/QC role, preferably in steel construction.
* In-depth understanding of QA/QC procedures, audits, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and quality management practices in the construction industry.
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g. Plan Radar or other ).
* Further training will be provided to the right candidate.
