Job Title: Legal Secretary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Secretary to support our Senior Solicitor with Medical Negligence and Personal Injury cases. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the management of files, diary management, and preparing court documents.
Key Responsibilities:
• File management with digital dictation
• Diary management
• Engrossing pleadings
• Preparing affidavits, briefs, and discovery booklets
• Arranging consultations and attendance of counsel and witnesses for hearings
• Dealing with calls from clients, expert witnesses, and solicitors
• General administration
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary/Legal Executive is essential
• Experience working in medical negligence or defence litigation is advantageous
• Collaborative and flexible attitude
• Experience with case management systems, preferably Practice Evolve
• Good attention to detail and excellent time management skills
