Based in Munster, with regular travel across Munster and Connacht. Hybrid working supported
Background and Context
Children's Health Foundation (CHF) is focused on raising funds to fulfil our mission of providing world class medical facilities, research and compassionate loving care for every sick child in Ireland cared for in Children's Health Ireland (CHI) hospitals and urgent care centres.
The Foundation supports Crumlin and Temple Street Children's Hospitals, Children's Hospital Tallaght and Connolly Urgent Care Centre.
The creation of Children's Health Foundation in 2019 brought together the existing Temple Street Foundation and The Children's Medical and Research Foundation Crumlin to continue to support Ireland's sickest children in their treatment journey today, tomorrow and into the future.
Role Purpose
Fundraising & Regional Supporter Engagement
The Regional Community & Campaigns Executive plays a key role in delivering fundraising campaigns at a regional level, while building and strengthening relationships with community and individual supporters across Munster and Connacht.
Reporting to the Community & Campaigns Lead, the role focuses on growing income and engagement through face-to-face supporter relationships, local fundraising activity and regional events. You will act as a key regional ambassador for Children’s Health Foundation (CHF), ensuring an excellent supporter experience while maximising fundraising opportunities across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Community Engagement & Supporter Relationships

Build, manage and grow strong relationships with community fundraisers, supporters, schools, clubs, businesses and voluntary groups across Munster and Connacht
Act as the primary point of contact for regional community supporters, ensuring the Foundation’s supporter promise is consistently delivered
Provide guidance, motivation and practical support to individuals and groups fundraising for CHF
Proactively visit supporters across the region to strengthen relationships, encourage repeat fundraising and identify new opportunities
Represent CHF at local events, cheque presentations, meetings and community engagements
Support the delivery of key fundraising campaigns within Munster and Connacht, adapting activity to suit local communities and audiences
Identify regional opportunities to grow income and participation across campaigns and community activity
Support supporter recruitment, acquisition and retention through strong local engagement and tailored supporter journeys
Assist with campaign planning, scheduling, budgeting and delivery, ensuring high standards of execution at a regional level
Track, monitor and report on regional campaign performance and supporter activity
Support the coordination and delivery of fundraising events and community activities across Munster and Connacht
Take ownership of specific regional projects, events or initiatives, ensuring they are well planned, promoted and delivered
Assist with event logistics, supporter communications and on-the-day delivery
Flexibility to attend and support events outside normal working hours, including evenings and weekends, with time off in lieu
Respond promptly and professionally to supporter queries across phone, email, post and digital channels
Maintain accurate and up-to-date supporter records on Salesforce, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy policies
Deliver regular reporting on regional income, supporter engagement and activity
Provide administrative support related to regional campaigns, community fundraising and events
Work collaboratively with your team to ensure a consistent supporter experience
Share regional insights and feedback to inform campaign planning and supporter strategy
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that values accountability, innovation, kindness and continuous learning
Proactively identify opportunities to improve regional supporter journeys and fundraising outcomes
Undertake additional project work as required

Qualifications and Experience

Experience in a fundraising, community engagement, campaigns, events, marketing or customer-focused role
Strong relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging supporters face-to-face
Excellent organisation, planning and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Confident using digital tools, social media and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience using a CRM/database system (Salesforce desirable)
A proactive, flexible team player with a strong regional focus
Willingness to travel regularly across Munster and Connacht
Full driving licence and access to a car is essential
