We are currently seeking an On-Site Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a large-scale civil and land remediation project in Co. Clare. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious QS looking to gain strong civil engineering experience within a supportive environment using NEC4 suite of contracts.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior QS, you will be involved in the day-to-day commercial management of the project, including:
* Assisting with cost control and budget management
* Manage Early Warning
* Preparation of commerical notification and quotations
* Measurement, valuations, and preparation of interim payments
* Subcontractor procurement and account management
* Variations and change control
* Supporting final accounts
* Working closely with site management and engineering teams
Requirements
* 2–4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role (contractor experience preferred)
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
* Some exposure to civil engineering projects is advantageous
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work on-site and as part of a project team
