A leading public-sector technology organisation is seeking a Junior Developer to join their development team on a contract basis. This organisation delivers large-scale digital platforms and services that support critical national systems and data-driven decision making.

Contract Duration: 6 Month
Location & Work Model: Dublin - Hybrid
Rate: €200 per day
Responsibilities
Develop new features and enhancements using Java, Spring, and SQL in line with technical standards.
Create and maintain functional design specifications, user stories, and technical documentation.
Contribute to unit, integration, and automation testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
Support system testing, incident resolution, and production releases.
Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions within Agile or hybrid project environments.
About You
Experience developing applications using Java, Spring, and SQL.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
Experience working with relational databases and structured data formats such as XML, JSON, or text files.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional development teams.
Desirable
Experience with Angular, Web Services, UNIX, WebLogic, or Cobol would be advantageous.
