Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a build construction firm based in Tullamore on the appointment of a Senior Buyer.
If you have been working at a senior level for a minimum of two years and are ready to take the next step in your career, this could be the perfect move for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sourcing and buying a wide range of materials, ensuring all materials are on site and on time
* Negotiate best price and lead times with new and existing suppliers whilst continually monitoring performance and ensuring all materials meet the standards required
* Frequently liaise with site managers, project teams, and quantity surveyors to forecast materials required
* Monitor delivery schedules and stock levels to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
* Work with a continuous improvement mindset, implementing process improvement and cost reduction projects
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years procurement experience, 2 of which at a senior level
* Proficient with software packages as well as all Microsoft Office packages
This role will offer the opportunity of stepping into a Procurement Management position.
