Health & Safety Officer A leading player in Construction and Industrial Installation is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join their team in Meath THE COMPANY: Established over a decade ago, our client delivers specialist on-site works across a range of industrial environments and places a strong emphasis on maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. As part of a growing team, the successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a positive health and safety culture, ensuring day-to-day activities align with both regulatory requirements and internal procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a health and safety professional with experience in construction or site-based environments to take the next step in their career within a stable and well-regarded company THE ROLE: The successful Health & Safety Officer will be based across multiple sites in Northern Leinster (predominantly Dublin, Meath and Cavan) and will be responsible for: Working under and closely with the Health and Safety Manager on sites around Northern Leinster territory. Performing risk assessments, producing method statements, SOP's and conducting site inspections and audits. Conducting site walks and toolbox talks. Overseeing site inductions and delivering manual handling training to employees. Documenting accidents/near misses and driving corrective changes to prevent future incidents. THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to candidates with the following backgrounds: A Health and Safety qualification is required (Level 7/8, Nebosh, Iosh, etc) Experience as a Health and Safety Officer in a Construction or Manufacturing environment is extremely advantageous. A full, clean driver's license is essential. A manual handling cert is beneficial. Site experience is highly desirable. A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential safety issues.
