As Accommodation Manager you will oversee all aspects of hotel cleanliness and maintenance in accordance with Company standards.
Responsibilities: To co-ordinate the efficient running of the Accommodation department, ensuring guest care and comfort are delivered Manage budgets, forecasts and operating costs within the accommodation department Manage the team ensuring standards are in place Ensure Procedures, SOPs, and Systems are in place across the Accommodation department Conduct daily inspections and co-ordinate work schedules in all areas Ensure assignments carried out by employees are completed and that a thorough handover is completed each shift.
To ensure effective running of laundry and valet areas, and all linen is sufficiently stocked.
To establish & maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all guest bedrooms and public areas front and heart of house To establish routine plans so that all furniture, fittings, carpets and coverings are maintained to a high standard To implement and adhere to stock control procedures in your department in particular concerning linen, cleaning materials, and toilet requisites Requirements: Previous experience in managing a hotel Accommodation department, Irish experience a distinct advantage Working knowledge of Opera cloud PMS or equivalent Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills and the ability to influence change Previous experience with KPIs, budgets, forecasting Extensive experience in managing a high-performance team including staff training, knowledge and skills, grooming, customer service and room etiquette Experience with report writing, e-mailing, compiling rosters and training plans, basic payroll administration, Labour Cost Management and ordering, Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of performance and customer service Excellent Interpersonal skills Fluent English Excellent Grooming and Presentation If you feel you have the required skills for this role and would like to apply for this role, please apply to Karen through the link provided.
