Procurement Strategy and Capabilities Manager
The role of Procurement Strategy and Capabilities Manager is to lead the development of long-term procurement category strategies, drive procurement performance management, and implement a future digital roadmap for procurement. This includes optimizing efficiency for procurement and end-users through systems, processes, and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enable effective category strategy management by continuously improving the 7-step sourcing process, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, and Risk programs.
* Develop and manage the long-term procurement strategy driven by business needs, incorporating modern technology, services, and tools to report performance and increase efficiency within procurement and the sourcing process.
* Deploy the procurement technology roadmap, collaborating with key stakeholders, including IT, procurement leadership, and other internal and external stakeholders.
* Lead all aspects of procurement operations, system controls, and compliance reporting services to better support end-users and guide the team towards maintaining a high standard of service.
* Drive initiatives to improve process, skills, and team engagement as a key member of the procurement strategy & capabilities leadership team.
* Partner with CSR and procurement teams on key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives to deliver responsible sourcing and other relevant targets.
Requirements:
* Experience driving and implementing tools/technology roadmaps for procurement organizations.
* Preferred experience in managing source-to-contract platform tools, such as Ariba.
* Preferred experience in supplier lifecycle management process, risk management, contract lifecycle management.
* Preferred experience with procurement and data analytics/visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Cognos IBM).
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence others to achieve outstanding results.
* Proficiency in navigating multinational organizational matrix environments.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
