Exciting news for Talbot Hotel Carlow! Due to the recent opening of our brand new An Bhearu Bar & Bistro we are expanding our culinary team. With that in mind we are recruiting for passionate Chef de Parties to join our fantastic team. The successful candidates will be expected to have a real passion for food, be innovative and strive for quality and perfection in every dish.
Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present all dishes and sauces to a high quality and consistent standard
Work in various kitchen sections as required
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion
Operate in a safe and responsible manner with recognized techniques
Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
Understand the provisions and maintenance of the kitchen service
Work as part of a busy kitchen team and overall professional hotel team
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a 4* hotel environment
HACCP trained and hygiene focused
Professional appearance & positive work attitude
Team player in a busy kitchen environment
Flexible and available to work varying shifts, 5 out of 7 days, including weekends
