Position Summary:We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support both the kitchen operations and household setup needs. This role involves preparing (already cook meals) and serving food, assisting with day care activities, and managing shopping and inventory of essential supplies—including full home setup for new residents.Key Responsibilities:Kitchen & Food Service:Assist with meal service, including food preparation, portioning, serving, and cleanup.Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards.Shop for food and kitchen supplies (e.g., ingredients, paper goods, cleaning materials).Monitor and manage kitchen inventory and restocking.Household Goods & Resident Setup:Shop for household goods for new residents.Coordinate delivery and setup of household items as needed.Keep records of purchases and inventory to support budgeting and reordering.Day Program & Activity Support:Assist in running daily activities, games, and recreational sessions for clients.Provide hands-on support to clients during meals and program time, encouraging participation and engagement.Build positive relationships with clients while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.Qualifications & Requirements:Previous experience in food service, caregiving, or facilities support preferred.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Basic knowledge of home goods and ability to shop cost-effectively.Ability to work collaboratively with care team and communicate respectfully with clients.Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain).Satisfactory background check and medical clearances as required.Working Conditions:Mix of indoor work and local travel for shopping errands.Fast-paced environment supporting elderly clients with varying needs.Some lifting, carrying, and standing required during meal service and household setup.Job Type: Part-timePay: €17.00-€19.00 per hourExpected hours: 25 per weekBenefits:Company pensionSick payWork Location: In person
