In October 2024, Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. The Sr Tax Manager – EMEA is responsible for initiating and integrating tax planning opportunities that contribute to shareholder value while fulfilling tax payment and reporting obligations. The Tax Manager monitors Strategic Business Units' tax-related issues and assists the business in evaluating the tax implications of their activities in EMEA with an objective of maximizing tax savings. The Tax Manager is also responsible for assisting in the development of tax controversy strategy and advocating the company's position in tax examinations.
The Tax Manager is involved in compliance-related activities, including monitoring organizational structures, reviewing annual tax filings prepared by outside service providers, and providing income tax data for the company's financial reporting.
The Manager is the point of contact with internal business clients, other practice areas within the Tax Department, and outside tax advisors.
