Senior Buyer / Planner – Hybrid
Are you an experienced Buyer/Planner with a strong track record in SAP-based procurement, materials planning, and supplier relationship management?
We're looking for a driven professional to join a high-performing supply chain team supporting critical manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and optimise end-to-end procurement and purchasing processes
Manage supplier performance and internal stakeholder collaboration
Build strategic supplier partnerships to streamline forecasting, purchase orders (POs), and invoicing
Oversee PO lifecycle: creation, submission, maintenance, and closure
Execute materials planning using SAP ERP/MRP, Min-Max systems, and usage data
Identify process improvement opportunities across procurement activities
Maintain accurate material master data in SAP
Develop supplier scorecards and track performance KPIs
Hold regular supplier meetings to align on demand and forecasting
Resolve PO/invoice issues and manage return-to-vendor (RTV) processes
Scope:
This role is crucial in ensuring timely, cost-effective raw material availability.
While not revenue-generating, it significantly reduces risk and supports total cost-of-goods optimisation across manufacturing operations.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Experience using SAP in procurement or planning roles
Strong communication, analytical, and supplier management skills
