Human Resources Business Partner
Our client, a rapidly growing Irish business with international operations, has partnered exclusively with Re:work on a fully managed recruitment campaign to hire a Human Resources Business Partner (12-month Fixed Term Contract). This is a strategic and hands‑on role reporting directly to the HR Director.
Role Summary
This is a hands‑on, meaningful role helping to bring structure and consistency to a growing organisation. It's ideal for someone who's pragmatic, confident and comfortable working in a business that's still finding its rhythm. You'll work directly with the HR Director as her right hand, taking ownership of day‑to‑day HR delivery while helping to bring consistency, process and structure to the organisation.

Our client is an established commercial contractor experiencing significant growth. Operating across Ireland and internationally, they deliver complex projects for blue‑chip clients in sectors requiring precision, compliance and technical expertise.
The HR function is entering an exciting phase of development under the leadership of the HR Director. The focus is on building structure, consistency and capability across all areas of people management. It is a collaborative environment where new ideas are encouraged, and where HR plays a central role in shaping how the organisation evolves.
What You'll Be Doing
* Partner with operational and office teams to deliver HR initiatives that support both business and people strategies
* Provide full HR support across the employee lifecycle, including talent management, engagement, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation and people analytics
* Advise on global mobility and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies, escalating risks where appropriate
* Support the HR Director with the design and delivery of annual compensation and reward processes, including market analysis and benchmarking
* Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring consistency and compliance across multiple entities
* Contribute to workforce planning and organisational design activities in line with business goals
* Deliver HR projects that drive retention, engagement and wellbeing across the workforce
* Support process improvement and the introduction of systems and tools that strengthen HR operations
* Play an active role in organisational change and transformation initiatives
* Work closely with the HR Director to embed culture, capability and structure across the organisation
What we're looking for
* Third‑level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
* 4+ years experience in a HR partnering or senior generalist role, ideally within a fast‑paced or multi‑site environment
* Strong employee relations and employment law expertise, with confidence managing complex cases
* Proven ability to build credibility, influence and partner effectively with managers and senior stakeholders
* Excellent communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills
* Comfortable working independently and making sound judgments in ambiguous situations
* Adaptable and pragmatic, with a high degree of initiative, reliability and discretion
* Confident using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Outlook
Desirable:
* Experience supporting global mobility and familiarity with employment legislation across EMEA
* Background in organisational design or change projects
What's On Offer
* Salary: €70,000 per annum

How They Work
