Irish Theatre Institute is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Leader to join their leadership team. As the primary liaison between stakeholders, staff, and management, this role plays a pivotal part in promoting dignity, equity, and wellbeing in the arts sector.
The successful candidate will oversee financial management, governance, operations, and overall organisational effectiveness. Key responsibilities include budget planning, payroll, invoicing, VAT returns, and ensuring accurate financial oversight and reporting related to the Safe to Create programme.
This senior leadership role also involves managing governance compliance, leading HR processes including staff contracts, policies, leave, performance reviews, and recruitment administration. The Executive Leader will support ITI's artist support programmes, work with the Programme Manager, Operations and Programme Co-ordinator, and Playography Editor on programme delivery.
Key qualifications for this position include 2–5 years of experience in finance, operations, or general management within the cultural or nonprofit sector. Strong organisational skills, excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, and familiarity with compliance obligations for non-profits and/or arts organisations are essential.
