St James’s Hospital is Ireland’s largest acute academic teaching hospital and is based in Dublin’s south inner city. Our fundamental purpose is the delivery of health treatment, care and diagnosis as well as health promotion and preventative services at local, regional and national levels. Our academic partner is Trinity College Dublin.
Purpose of the role: The role of the Fire Prevention, Response and Systems Manager is to provide professional leadership, specialist technical advice and operational oversight. The role ensures that St James’s Hospital maintains the highest standards of fire safety for patients, staff, visitors and the wider community. The post holder will lead on prevention strategies, emergency response planning, and the management of critical fire protection systems.
