You will manage R&D teams, ensure cross-functional alignment, and deliver projects in line with quality, regulatory, and business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate medical device product development activities across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Clinical, and Commercial teamsOwn project planning, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for new product development programsOversee device design, process development, verification and validation activitiesSupport design transfer to manufacturing and scale-up activitiesEnsure development documentation and processes comply with FDA, ISO, and internal quality systemsMentor, coach, and develop R&D engineers and project leadersManage departmental budgets and contribute to cost optimisation initiativesYour ProfileBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline8+ years of experience in R&D or process development, ideally within medical devices or another regulated industryStrong knowledge of medical device development, manufacturing, and quality systems (FDA/QSR, ISO)Experience with process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and verification & validation activitiesProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex development projectsExcellent communication skills and a structured, analytical approachSix Sigma or Design for Six Sigma training is a strong advantageInterested?
