We are seeking an experienced and driven Tax Manager to join our growing team in Cork City.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax consultancy and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert tax consultancy and advisory services across various industries.
2. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
3. Prepare and present comprehensive tax planning reports to clients and stakeholders.
4. Work collaboratively with other departments and external advisors to deliver a holistic consulting service.
5. Conduct tax research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving tax legislation.
6. Train, mentor, and support junior staff to aid their development and performance.
7. Review and manage deliverables produced by junior staff to ensure accuracy and quality.
8. Lead tax consultancy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
9. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the firm's growth.
10. Assist with the operational management of the Cork tax department, including oversight of WIP, debtors, billings, and fee collections.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Qualified CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) essential.
2. Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
3. Minimum of 2 years experience in tax consultancy and advisory services.
4. Strong technical expertise across multiple tax areas.
5. Proven ability to manage a team and delegate effectively.
6. Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering results.
7. Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to build strong client relationships and manage client expectations.
