DescriptionRyanair are currently recruiting for aHead of Route Developmentto join Europe's Largest Airline Group.This is an excellent time to join as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 8 years.Reporting to the Director of Airports and Commercial Finance, the successful candidate will be based in our global head office in Dublin and will lead a team responsible for managing and developing commercial relationships with airport and governmental agencies to support the low-cost expansion of the Ryanair network across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.Dutie include but not limited to;Take lead implementing commercial strategy in key Ryanair geographical locationsReduce airport costs at existing Ryanair airportsIdentify and deliver low-cost deals at new airportsManage and develop commercial relationships with airports and Government agencies across the networkParticipate in, and provide guidance to, route selection/deselection processInterpret competitive analysis to identify new opportunitiesProvide market data as well as competitive insights on market portfolioLiaise with internal Marketing, Finance and Operations departmentsAbility to travel internationally at least twice per monthOther ad-hoc duties as requiredRequirementsHave a commercially focused background (accountancy / commercial lawyer / investment or similar)Ability to communicate in a simple and concise mannerOrganised, detail-oriented, motivated to complete tasks independently and as part of a teamEnjoy working in a fast-moving environment with continuous changeAbility to manage different tasks simultaneously and deal with different people across EuropeInterest in route development and the airline industryAnalytical, able to source, produce and draw conclusions from data and reportsStrong computer skills, especially with ExcelExcellent communication skills, both written and spoken English.
