Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Procurement Assistant to support the procurement and supply chain functions. This role is ideal for early-career professionals or recent graduates who want to develop experience in purchasing, vendor management, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the procurement of goods and services according to company policies.
* Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate records of transactions.
* Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, track deliveries, and resolve issues.
* Maintain procurement databases and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Support the monitoring of stock levels and assist in inventory management.
* Assist in vendor evaluation and performance tracking.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procurement processes meet business requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with procurement systems is a plus.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Prior internship, work experience, or coursework in procurement or supply chain is a plus but not required.
