Job Description
Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The position is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. The role partners with the GM to manage Team Members and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The ability to source from various channels including special orders, FDO, second sources, etc., is essential. The role also involves directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position.
Primary Responsibilities
* Maintain commercial customer relationships
* Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
* Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
* Support daily supervision of Team Members
* Collaborate with GM on coaching and development of Team Members
* Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards
* Maintain commercial stocking programs
* Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
* Maintain core bank and commercial returns
* Manage commercial credit accounts
* Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Essential Job Skills
* Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
* Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus)
* Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs, and instructions
* Completion of Parts Knowledge Assessment
* Basic math skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
* Strong organizational skills
* Understanding of commercial profitability concepts
* Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends
Prior Experience
Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred, with proven sales ability and team leadership experience.
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
ASE Certification preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Ability to see clearly and use hands and fingers is required.
Work Environment
Primarily indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise is possible.
Position is eligible for sales commissions based on performance.
