The Store Manager leads all aspects of retail operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standard. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and fresh, high-quality food, this role drives performance by managing people, processes, and operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily store operations, including stock control, scheduling, and compliance with health, safety, security, and GDPR standards.
* Collaborate with the Regional Store Manager to set, track, and achieve sales, profit, waste reduction, and other KPI targets.
* Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing development to ensure staff meet company standards and best practices.
* Drive sales performance by motivating staff to upsell, identify opportunities, and maintain strong merchandising and presentation standards.
* Foster a positive, adaptable work environment by embracing new initiatives and leading with a "can-do" attitude.
What We're Looking For:
* A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a dynamic retail management position.
* Strong people management skills and effective communication abilities.
* A proven track record of achieving KPIs and sales targets.
* Hands-on experience in stock management, financial reporting, and relevant management systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and an aptitude for reading and analysing reports.
