Our client is seeking a Staff Grade Physiotherapist to join the Primary Care Team in Dungarvan, Waterford. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic community-based setting, working with a diverse caseload that includes elderly care, rehabilitation, neurology, and orthopaedics.
As a Staff Grade Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing individualised treatment plans, promoting functional independence, and improving the quality of life for patients in the community. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to holistic patient care and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities for the Physiotherapist:
* Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and treatments to adults and older persons in the community.
* Develop individualised rehabilitation programs, addressing mobility, strength, and functional independence.
* Work with patients recovering from neurological conditions and orthopaedic injuries to optimise their rehabilitation journey.
* Conduct home visits and provide advice on assistive devices and adaptations.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring integrated patient care.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development initiatives.
Essential Criteria for the Physiotherapist:
* Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
* CORU registration (or eligibility for registration)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
* Experience in elderly care, rehabilitation, neurology, or orthopaedics
* Knowledge of falls prevention strategies and mobility assessments
* Experience in delivering group-based exercise programs
