This is a role where you will have the opportunity to build new and strengthen existing relationships, shape complex large-scale bids and work with a global specialist contractor within the Rail sector on the Island of Ireland.
This is initially a fixed term role (1 year), concentrating on the Rail sector in ROI (both Dart & Irish Rail).
Owning stakeholder engagement within a very busy industry sector.
Multiple large-scale tender opportunities within P-Way, signalling, telecommunications and civils.
What you need: Strong knowledge of Rail, ideally with existing strong relationships within the sector in ROI.
Experience of the sector, ideally with knowledge of the opportunities which will go to tender over the next 24 months.
Commercial awareness, with previous experience of how to shape and develop winning bids.
Ability to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships, with the ability to influence.
Ideally you will: Live in ROI or NI, so that you can meet stakeholders regularly in person.
A background within rail in Ireland, either as a senior consultant where you delivered solutions into rail clients, or you have had a career as a senior stakeholder within the Rail sector.
What this role will give you: Flexibility, initially a 1-year fixed term contract, which for the right person does offer flexibility where you can work 3-5 days per week depending on where you are within the tender cycle.
Meaning if you are potentially retired this may be ideal.
Beyond this there maybe the opportunity to join the Irish team on a more permanent basis, but this will be based on success in post.
