Job Title: Director of Spa & Wellbeing
Position Overview:
The Director of Spa & Wellbeing provides strategic leadership and overall direction for the spa and wellness operations. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining a world-class guest experience while driving business performance, overseeing daily operations, managing the team, and developing innovative wellness offerings. The Director ensures the spa reflects the brand's vision, values, and commitment to holistic wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead all aspects of the spa and wellbeing operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and coordinating front of house activities
* Develop and implement strategic plans to grow revenue, optimise profitability, and achieve business objectives.
* Create innovative wellness programs, treatments, and experiences that align with current trends and guest needs.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of spa and wellness teams.
* Foster a culture of excellence, guest care, and staff wellbeing.
* Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
* Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote spa and wellness services, packages, and memberships.
* Maintain relationships with suppliers, product partners, and industry experts.
* Monitor guest feedback, implement service enhancements, and drive continuous improvement.
* Represent the spa and wellbeing division as a senior leader within the company
Qualifications & Skills:
* Proven leadership experience in luxury hospitality, spa, or wellness management.
* Strong business acumen with a track record in revenue growth and operational excellence.
* Deep understanding of global spa and wellness trends.
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in spa management software and financial reporting.
* Passion for wellness, holistic health, and delivering transformative guest experiences.
