Health and Safety Specialist
Job Overview
A highly skilled health and safety specialist is required to oversee critical projects across mainland Europe. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in health and safety management and be proficient in facilitating effective communication between senior management, site teams, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure seamless execution of projects
* Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures
* Conduct regular site visits to assess health and safety protocols
* Organize training sessions and workshops to educate staff on health and safety best practices
* Maintain accurate records of health and safety assessments, risk evaluations, and compliance reports
* Provide expert advice on health and safety matters to stakeholders
* Participate in development of company-wide health and safety strategies and initiatives
Requirements:
* Postgraduate degree in Health and Safety or related field desired
* At least 3 years of experience in a relevant position with a construction company
* Proven track record of implementing successful health and safety initiatives and achieving compliance targets
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to use Microsoft Office and other software applications
