Assistant Sales Manager (Conference and Events)
Crowne Plaza West Cairo – Arkan is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Assistant Sales Manager (Conference and Events).
Job Summary
This role involves establishing a client base through direct sales, prospecting, and account management to secure business for the hotel and meet revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish a strong client base through outside and inside selling to drive conference and events sales and revenue growth.
* Actively prospect and qualify new business opportunities.
* Create account plans in line with IHG standard operating procedures to grow assigned accounts.
* Gather market intelligence on current and prospective clients to generate incremental business.
* Monitor competitors' activities and provide feedback to management on changing market conditions.
* Sell to new, existing, and prospective customers while negotiating optimal rates for the benefit of the business.
Requirements
* Solid computer skills and proficiency in office software products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position in a 5/4-star hotel.
