Job Title: Site Construction Manager
About the Role:
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to take on a key role in managing and supervising site operations for a large industrial project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the project run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with set timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise site operations, including concrete works, drainage, road construction, and enabling works.
* Set out gridlines and layouts for site using software such as TotalStation and GPS.
* Review and update programmes of work to ensure projects are completed on time.
* Monitor subcontractors' work against quality standards.
* Liaise closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth project execution.
* Promote health and safety on site.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, with a strong understanding of TotalStation and GPS usage. They should possess a degree or apprenticeship-level education in Construction or Civil Engineering and have experience with relevant documentation such as sign-offs and valuations. Additionally, they must hold a full driver's license and have the right to work in Ireland. Occasional travel may be required, but primary base will be one site.
