We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Performing general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document management.
* Compliance: Ensuring all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
* Ownership of the New Accounts Process: Ensuring approvals are in place according to procedures.
* Due Diligence: Conducting checks on new account requests, including vendor duplication and current capacity within other Winthrop entities; liaising with the Finance Department as needed.
* Vendor Communication: Updating the site on vendor setup progress.
* Data Management: Updating trackers for new requests, maintaining the database, and recording all information per process.
* Vendor Qualification: Issuing PQQ forms to potential vendors.
* Form Review and Approval: Collating received forms and submitting for AP Manager approval.
* Insurance Monitoring: Weekly review of supplier insurances, requesting new certificates as needed, and monitoring the insurance mailbox.
* Insurance Verification: Reviewing received certificates to ensure appropriate coverage, recording documentation accordingly.
