Financial Accountant, Healthcare Due to the acquisition and expansion of several locations across the UK, this has created an exciting new opportunity for a Qualified Accountant within our Dubln West Office.
This is a stand-alone, end-to-end accounting role, responsible for managing all financial operations for UK services division.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will initially act as the sole accounting professional for the UK business, ensuring robust financial governance, statutory compliance, and high-quality financial information to support decision-making as the organisation continues to grow.
This hands-on role is suitable for an operationally focused, fully qualified accountant who enjoys autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to grow with a developing UK division of an established Irish business.
As the business grows and team expands (anticipated 69-month timeline), there will be expanded supervision and team leading duties also, for the additional accounts receivable and accounts payable joiners.
Key Responsibilities Record and review all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and journal transactions Prepare accurate monthly closing packs under tight plc timelines Manage supplier and customer invoicing, ensuring timely payments and collections Prepare and post journals including payroll, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and other adjustments Prepare and submit HMRC and Companies House returns to ensure compliance with HMRC requirements for VAT, Corporation Tax and other statutory filings Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts Assist with working capital management and cash flow oversight Act as the key contact for external auditors and tax advisors for both local and group audits The person: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) Minimum 3 yrs years relevant accounting experience Accounting training in UK Tax streams or qualified from 3+ years in a UK business operating via HMRC and Companies House for VAT, Payroll and Corporate taxes and for Company secretarial filing Advanced Excel Skills Salary:€60k plus benefits.
