Finance Manager - Start Up - Renewable Energy
Barden has partnered with a start-up in the renewable energy sector on a newly-created Finance Manager role.
About the role:
You will play a critical role in supporting financial control, strategic decision-making, and commercial analysis.
You'll work closely with the CFO and senior leadership to ensure financial control and support investment decisions in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts and board packs
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the business
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
Partner with operations, engineering, and commercial teams to assess project viability and monitor performance
Support fundraising efforts, including investor reporting and financial due diligence
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements
Implement and improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations
About the person:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years' experience in finance
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
