Senior Quality Assurance Automation EngineerOur client, a leading Fintech firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in data engineering. This is a permanent position based in Dublin City Centre, offering an exciting opportunity to shape and expand the client's QA strategy and tooling.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks tailored to data-centric applications.Lead the development and evolution of the QA Automation strategy and tooling across the technology stack.Collaborate closely with software engineers, data engineers, and analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables.Integrate automated testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines to enhance test coverage and release confidence.Implement end-to-end testing practices, ensuring the reliability and performance of data-driven solutions.Evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and processes that enhance QA capabilities.Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices within the team.QualificationsMinimum of 7 years’ experience in QA Automation, ideally in data-rich environments.Proven background in data engineering or hands-on experience with large-scale data systems.Strong knowledge of QA Automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Karate, or similar.Proficiency with scripting languages and automated test development.Experience working within Agile development methodologies.Familiarity with continuous integration tools and version control systems.Exposure to cloud-based data platforms or big data ecosystems.Experience in investment management or financial services is advantageous.Strong SQL and data querying skills.Familiarity with behaviour-driven development (BDD) practices.Experience with performance and load testing tools.Education and Other DetailsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.Location: Dublin City Centre.Hybrid working model: 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week.Competitive salary and benefits package available to the successful candidate.How to ApplyIf you are interested in this role, please apply for this role with your updated CV.Job DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: IT System Testing and Evaluation, Technology, Information and Media, and Financial Services
