are delighted to partner with a Multinational Insurance Company to hire a Risk Analyst to their Dublin operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comprehensive identification and assessment of risks in accordance with Solvency II and business standards.
* Contribute to issue risk opinions on significant business and operational developments.
* Implementation of the risk management framework at the level of operational policies, processes, and procedures, according to our risk management standards.
* Maintenance of an effective and proportionate internal control framework for preventing, detecting operational incidents and/or excessive risk taking.
* Effective implementation of the Risk Appetite framework and control that the agreed tolerances are adhered to.
* Recommendations to the 1st line to strengthen the control environment.
* Ensure a fast and efficient response from the 1st line to operational incidents.
* Track and monitor progress on remediation actions.
* Report outstanding operational incidents to the management and governance bodies as agreed with the Chief Risk Officer.
* Report on risk management activities to the management and governance bodies.
* Collect and report internal controls on both internal and outsourced activities to the management and governance bodies.
* Maintain and constantly improve the depth and relevance of the risk dashboard.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor degree or equivalent in audit/control/finance or its equivalent in terms of professional experience.
* At minimum, 3 years' experience in the areas of control (risk, audit, permanent control) in insurance or banking.
* Master Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
* Ability to code is a plus.
