Job Description:
We are seeking a professional to oversee the delivery of MEICA contracts in the West of Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career and contribute to impactful projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of MEICA contracts delivery in the West of Ireland
* Project management of water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations with mechanical, electrical, and ICA requirements
* Review of tender submissions and development of plans for contract delivery
* Assignment of tenders to appropriate project managers for delivery
* Liaison with commercial matters arising during contract delivery, including procurement, subcontract negotiation, and client management
* Monitoring of project programmes for multiple contracts
* Co-ordination of regular contract review meetings with the contracts team
* Ensuring monthly invoicing targets are achieved
* Creation of project programmes and ensuring all required interfaces are allowed for from design to final site commissioning and handover
* Liaison and co-ordination with clients and stakeholders
* Management of site labour, including subcontractors
* Ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
* Writing of engineering reports, reviewing method statements, and commissioning schedules
* Establishment of procedures for safe contract delivery
* Management and updating of monthly project trackers
* Participation in EPS Contracts growth and business development strategy
* Attendance at regular meetings with the EPS MEICA Contracts Leadership Team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Requirements:
* Proven experience and ability to manage, mentor, and improve team members
* Proficiency in PC skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience in mechanical and electrical design and ability to review and interpret specifications
* Experience and knowledge of various process designs in the Water & Wastewater Treatment sector
* Proven track record in delivery of projects with a mechanical and electrical focus
* Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater industry
* Proven experience in delivery of projects with a strong emphasis on H&S
* Third-level Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering degree/Diploma or similar relevant degree
* Full clean driving licence
* Experience in a similar role
