Supply Chain Leader Summary
* Manage the production planning process to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.
* Collaborate with production and quality departments to ensure high-quality products and services.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee production planning, raw materials ordering, warehouse management, and master data.
* Balance financial targets, production targets, and customer service requirements.
* Ensure a proper supply chain by managing raw material ordering and delivery.
* Monitor key performance indicators (OTIF, schedule adherence, inventory DOH, lead time) and analyze root causes of deviations.
* Lead and develop the Supply Chain team.
* Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
* Implement an agile supply chain approach with flexible shift models, processes for higher flexibility, and other related actions.
* Ensure regular check of SCM relevant master data.
* Cooperate with Production and Quality departments to maintain high customer service standards.
* Support monthly target setting and forecasting in terms of plant output, cost absorption, inventory, and shipment planning.
* Conduct capacity planning (short and long term) and modeling to identify pinch points and required actions.
* Build a local S&OP process to guide site operations.
* Support creation and controlling of budgets for the own area of responsibility.
* Provide reports and analysis on a regular basis as requested by Plant Management or corporate functions.
* Support R&D activities, new product introductions, product recertification, and product rationalization initiatives.
* Engage in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives, including focus groups.
* Participate in further education and learning & development opportunities appropriate to the role.
* Ensure optimal use of resources at all times and deployment across the organisation as required.
* Train employees in line with business needs.
* Coordinate and complete projects and duties assigned by management.
* Work towards highest level of teamwork and contribute to problem solving and idea generation.
* Maintain high level of housekeeping, health & safety, and GMP practices.
