Role Profile In addition to your responsibilities as Maintenance Technician you will be expected to assume additional Leadership responsibilities within the team. For clarity these will include but not exclusively the following key responsibilities Responsibilities Challenge standards with the shift team to ensure maximum compliance with GMP and H&S policies and systems. Ensure Shareknowledge compliance within the Maintenance Team Act as a role model to other team members in delivering on GMP and H&S requirements within the team Take a leadership role within the team in troubleshooting and problem solving through to conclusion Coach other Team Members in their overall development within the Maintenance Technician role Support the Shift Team Lead in crisis management within the shift Take a leadership role in decision making within a shift Take a leadership role in driving a CI culture within the team Drive effectiveness in shift handover by (a) ensuring incoming team is provided with all the necessary information required to be effective in their role and (b) ensuring your shift team has received all the necessary information required from the outgoing team to be effective during our shift Act as a role mode in completion of documentation and data management (eg SAP PM data management) Requirements Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification Minimum of 24 months experience in a Maintenance / Production role within a highly automated food processing environment. Aptitude for troubleshooting, fault finding & root cause analysis on plant/process issues. Good working knowledge of GMP best practices. Experience operating within, and delivering on, the highest quality standards in the manufacturing sector. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a cross functional team. Ability to interact with Engineering IT processs such as MES & SAP PM.
