The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to manage a portfolio of small works, maintenance, and aftercare contracts. The position suits a Project Manager with strong commercial awareness, or a Quantity Surveyor who has progressed into a project management–focused role, comfortable managing both delivery and cost control on smaller-value contracts.
This role will be headquartered at our Buncrana office and is ideal for a candidate within travelling distance of Buncrana, overseeing locally delivered projects from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion support.
What You Will Deliver
•Manage the commercial aspects of small works and maintenance contracts, including cost control, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
•Oversee project delivery from planning through to completion and aftercare.
•Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure programmes, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
•Manage change control and ensure accurate cost and progress reporting.
•Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing queries and post-completion issues.
•Ensure works are delivered in line with contractual, quality, and health & safety requirements.
•Travel to projects to assess works, coordinate direct trades or subcontractors, and ensure the completion of the works.
What You Bring
•Background in Quantity Surveying or Project Management, with proven experience covering both disciplines.
•Experience managing small works, maintenance, or similar project types.
•Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple contracts concurrently.
•Practical, organised, and solutions-focused approach.
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
