Our client is a leading Hotel based in Cork City Centre who currently require an experience Assistant Financial Controller to join their finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for Recording revenue and key statistical data from the Property Management System Processing and checking all purchase invoices and maintain the creditor ledgers.
Liaising with hotel management in monitoring the debtor ledgers.
Responsibility for cash management and perform regular reconciliations.
End to end income audit - cash, credit card and bank reconciliation Creditor Control Procure Wizard orders, invoice processing Accounts payable coding, reconciliations, raising /responding to suppliers queries Payroll Assisting with Group reporting Analysis of the bank account and reconcile on a monthly basis.
Maintain the general ledger, Assisting with month-end accounts, bring to trial balance for preparation of monthly management accounts, Producing monthly set of accounts in a timely manner.
Calculation of key performance indicators.
Assisting the FC in the preparation of budgets.
Providing support to the Head Office Finance Department as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements Experience in finance within the Hospitality sector Ideally 2 years plus solid experience in a busy/fast paced finance function Part qualified/Qualified or similar ACCA, CIMA, ACA,CPA Good exposure to AP, AR, reconciliations, month end, assisting with budgets Good Excel skills and exposure to Sage Line 50, Procure Wizard and Opera a plus.
