Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Sports Centre Care Staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching swimming at various levels, both from the water and the poolside, from beginner to lengths. They will also undertake lifeguard duties, teach gym classes, and provide personal training services.
* Teach swimming at various levels, including beginner and advanced learners.
* Undertake lifeguard duties during swimming lessons and other aquatic activities.
* Teach gym classes, including fitness training and exercise routines.
* Provide personal training services to clients, including one-on-one coaching and group sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Full or Assistant Swim Teaching qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Pool Lifeguard Qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Recognised REP's, Gym Instruction, or personal trainer qualification such as ITEC, NCEF, NCEHS, or other qualification (desirable but not essential).
* First aid/AED qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to teach a wide range of fitness classes/swim teaching classes.
* Experience teaching or coaching (desirable).

Salary: In line with the Department of Health consolidated pay scales, the current salary scale is €34,036 - €47,454 per annum (including LSI).
