We are currently looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead a team of Technologists across multiple projects. This role is critical in ensuring Ardmac design solutions are of the highest quality, delivered on schedule, and within budget. The Senior Architectural Technologist will take responsibility for the production, supervision, and delivery of design solutions, as well as ensuring a smooth handover of design packages to the construction team.Senior Architectural Technologist Role ResponsibilitiesReview project specifications and scope and agree deliverablesManage project design budgets and programmes using last planner and other planning toolsEnsure all designs comply with regulations and standardsReport output and productivity against agreed targetsMentor assigned resources to support their professional developmentGenerate and manage technical aspects of subcontractor packagesOversee product selection, detailing, and material interfacingRaise and respond to design stage RFIs and COVIsEnsure compliance with the Health and Safety Plan design criteriaIdentify long-lead materials to assist procurementAttend site meetings as requiredAssist with tender proposal preparationProtect the company's contractual position at design stage, including correspondence with the Design Team and subcontractorsPromote and protect Ardmac's image and interestsQualifications and ExperienceYou may be interested in the role if you have the following qualifications and experience:QualificationsBSc. in Architectural TechnologyExperience and SkillsProficiency in BIM – Autodesk Revit, Navisworks & AutoCADStrong knowledge of Building Regulations and Design Standards, including BCARExperience in technical detailing and material specificationUnderstanding of drawing symbols and standardsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to deliver technical innovation and value creationExperience of working in a building contractor environment is preferredExposure to industrial projects such as in pharma and electronics is desirableWhat we offerThere are many benefits to working with Ardmac, including a competitive salary, generous time off, a Christmas savings programme, and much more.
