Job Title: Environmental Health & Safety Professional
This role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of health, safety and environmental programs across the organization.
* The ideal candidate will have excellent collaboration skills to work with various functions and stakeholders.
* Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements is a key aspect of this position.
1. The successful Environmental Health & Safety Professional will be accountable for promoting a positive health and safety culture within the workplace, identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures as required;
2. Developing strategies to enhance employee engagement in occupational health and well-being initiatives;
Implementing policies, procedures, training plans that foster safe working practices
among all employees.
The job holder must be able to evaluate situations properly where decisions impact personnel's lives or conditions of employment resulting from said evaluations leading directly towards proposing solutions aimed at reducing overall risk exposure significantly especially concerning operational aspects due mainly reasons (HSE).
