Your Role in Carbery's Success
A critical role withing the site's Quality team, the function of this role is to co-ordinate, reporting and improving all Quality related aspects of Cheese Production (including milk processing).
This will involve communicating with Suppliers, Operations, Quality, Utilities, HR, Sales & Marketing/Commercial, Customers and Third-party Producers/Packers.
How You Will Contribute
1. Drive continuous improvement of Quality standards in Cheese Production
2. Co-ordinate and monitor investigation of Quality issues (including customer complaints) ensuring:
3. Site CI tools are used to identify root cause (s) and corrective actions
4. Site Quality standards are maintained
5. Process is fully documented
6. Timelines are met
7. Key stakeholders receive relevant communications
8. Increase Quality / Compliance awareness and competence amongst Cheese Production Operators and Management
9. Co-ordinate change control process and review documentation to ensure that responses are timely and meet site Quality standards
10. Co-ordinate completion of process risk assessments, ensuring they meet site Quality standards
11. Implement, report, monitor sampling and testing plans, and modify (as required)
12. Carry out trends on lab analyses to identify issues to support Cheese Production and customers
13. Release of product based on analysis, and monitoring out of spec product
14. Update customer specifications and internal specifications (where relevant)
15. Support customer and regulatory audits
16. Carry out GMP (Hygiene) and Quality System internal audits
17. Liaise with suppliers and audit same (as required)
18. Work with Operations to modify / update production SOPs (as required)
19. Provide input into Cheese Operations training plans and training packages (using learnings from customer audits and Quality trends)
20. Generate Quality reports and trends and work with suppliers to facilitate continuous improvement
