The Project planner will join the company's planning division from their base in Leixlip and will be responsible for Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning utilizing Planning softwares.

Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.
Reporting to Planning Department.
Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management.
Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / com-missioning.
Developing and maintaining progress databases.
Progress reporting.
Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.
Earned Value Management systems.
Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
Auditing progress on site.
Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.
Preparation of tender schedules.
Preparation of histograms.
Supporting weekly workface planning systems.
Resource / cash loading of schedules.
Providing data for payment applications.
Completing contract review reports.
Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
Recording delay and disruption.
Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects.
Be proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.).
Capable of managing the planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision.
Be highly motivated, a self-starter & able to work well in a team on or your own.
Clear communicator.
Ability to work well within strict deadlines.
