Job Title: Tenancy Specialist
A Critical Role in Housing Management

Key Responsibilities:
* Managing Tenancies: Overseeing the start, duration, and end of tenancies, including sign-ups, renewals, and terminations.
* Arrears Management: Monitoring rent accounts, engaging with tenants to resolve arrears, and working with finance teams to ensure timely payments.
* Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Investigation: Investigating complaints, liaising with enforcement agencies, and implementing appropriate interventions.
* Property Inspections: Conducting regular estate and property inspections to ensure standards are maintained and repairs are identified.
* Resident Engagement: Building strong relationships with tenants, responding to queries, and promoting community initiatives.
* Collaborative Working: Collaborating with social services, support agencies, and internal departments to provide holistic support to residents.
* Safeguarding & Welfare: Identifying vulnerable tenants and ensuring appropriate referrals and support mechanisms are in place.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a housing management or tenancy support role.
* Strong understanding of housing legislation, tenancy law, and safeguarding practices.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues professionally.
* Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with strong organisational skills.
* Proficiency in using housing management systems and Microsoft Office.
* A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (if fieldwork is required).
* CIH Level 3 or above (desirable but not essential).
