We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team on a permanent contract. This is an evening shift position in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of automated production machinery by proactively maintaining and troubleshooting equipment issues. Your goal will be to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvements in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including routine inspections and repairs, to ensure equipment is running at peak efficiency.
* Analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new equipment integration and process enhancements.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation, including machine settings and PM records.
* Develop and optimize fixtures, jigs, and tooling to enhance workstation efficiency and product quality.
Requirements:
* Level 6 qualification or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent).
* Experience in equipment maintenance within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of automated systems, electrical and pneumatic systems, and mechanical systems.
* Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
* Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
