What you'll be doing...
As a Senior Manager for Applications Support you will be responsible for overseeing multiple teams that focus on fallout error support, correction and reconciliation as well as ensuring their timely execution.You will oversee a team of subject matter experts responsible for the application support as well as identifying trends to fallout and working towards a standard solution.Your role requires extensive partnering within Global Supply Chain, Sourcing and Sustainability (GSSCS) along with IT and solution providers offering cloud-based software, 3rd party developers and a variety of stakeholder groups across Verizon .
Your team's are the first line of support to the larger GSSCS team and in some instances the larger Verizon enterprise.
This position is a strategic role and is the catalyst for driving continuous improvement of supply chain processes and solutions.
Responsibilities also include organizational leadership, metrics tracking, crisp and clear support documentation, business process subject matter expertise to implement solutions, data quality management, and communication of the improvement initiatives.
This is a high impact, highly visible, multi-business/multi-region position in the Global Supply Chain organization.
You are a key member of a leading-edge team responsible for the successful execution of system transactions across Verizon's Global Supply Chain, Sourcing and Sustainability organization.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
Relevant work experience within a similar role
Experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing and/or Sustainability operations
Experience with process design, reviews and improvement strategies
Experience with direct people management, including leadership of diverse global teams
Proven experience building deep relationships and driving strong collaboration
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Strong executive presence, with proactive sense of ownership and a keen eye to look ahead, plan and execute
Proven experience in leading complex projects by bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks and integrating feedback from clients and team members
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and operations skills
Experience in supporting SAP tool suites (S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP, MDG)
Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects with frequent interruptions
Proven ability to lead and motivate others
